Committee Retreat 2022
Members of the Lake Geauga Training Committee will meet in June to enjoy nature and plan our upcoming year of professional training for our great hard-working professionals. We spend the morning on committee business and the afternoon brainstorming current topics of interest to the various professionals we serve, many of which come from the participants themselves.
We review all the suggestions made by participants from the current year’s Ensemble, and any ideas that come through the website. We also look to the various accreditation boards’ requirements for licensure, including the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker & Marriage and Family Therapist Board and the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board as well as the Supreme Court of Ohio for attorneys. Each Committee member is tasked with contacting potential presenters by our September meeting, and the process continues through the fall with presenters sending in documents, agendas, etc.
